I am going to start May even though I don’t have many pictures. I wanted to add that Sarah now has 8 teeth (4 on top, 4 on bottom). She has the cutest smile. Sarah also started talking more and has said “Daisy” and “Hi”. She says “Hi Da Da.” Here is a cute photo of Rachel.

April was a fun month. The girls always have fun together and they play together a lot more now. Sarah is trying to walk, but still needs our assistance. We moved Sarah into a booster seat. Rachel is getting into Curious George and Care Bears now. I included a picture of her carrying her Care Bears around. Some are Sarah’s, but Rachel thinks they are all hers. We bought a red tunnel for them to play in and they love it! Sarah now has 7 teeth in April. We went to the GA Aquarium for the first time when my mom and sister visited on Easter weekend. It was a blast. Oh, and you will notice we finally have a bow in Sarah’s hair. Yeah - it is growing in so think. Sarah also drinks from a sippy cup now. Enjoy!

The girls are always such a joy to watch. Sarah and Rachel enjoyed an Easter egg hunt together, and I included a photo of them in their dresses. We did the egg hunt with the Moms Club early this year. It may seem I have more photos of Sarah, but that is because she does not mind the camera (just like Rachel was at her age). But it is hard to get Rachel to stop long enough to look at the camera. Both girls are wide open and with Sarah crawling everywhere extremely fast, it is hard to keep up with the both of them. Sarah loves to feed herself and you can tell in two of the photos I included below. Sarah loves to crawl on stairs too. Sarah also says “Bye Bye.” With the warm weather coming in, we let the girls play outside a lot. I included some of Rachel in the driveway coloring. Here are some cute photos of them…

Sarah’s One Year Professional Pictures

Here are the precious photos of our sweet Sarah. You cannot tell from the pictures, but she cried the whole session. In fact, we ended up giving her a gerber wagon wheel to calm her down, which ended up being in one of the photos we chose. For the first time Rachel wanted to be in front of the camera so we let her sit with Sarah and show her a toy and it ended up being a great shot too. These are scanned in on my scanner which is not the best of quality. But you can still see them pretty well. Enjoy!

Sarah Turns “ONE”

Sarah had her big birthday in February on the 24th (her actual birthday). My sister came to visit with her family and also her best friend Kellie with her family too. We had a lot of fun that weekend and all the kids played together nicely. We had Rachel (2), Sarah (1), Addy (7), Drew (2 mth), Wes (7) and Emma (5 mth) all here. Sarah loved her birthday cake and just dug into it (not like Rachel who just sat there and cried). I have included several pictures of her eating her cake. I also included the group photo which shows everyone who came to the party. Thank you so much for coming!

The next morning we attempted to take pictures of just the cousins for my mom, but we did not have very much cooperation as you will see.

Sarah had her 1 year Dr. appointment on March 6th and she weighs 25 pounds 4 ounces (94%) and she was 31 inches long (94%). Rachel currently weighs 25 pounds too.

We had a great month. Sarah has learned to climb the stairs (and caught us off guard when she was half way up the stairs when we saw her). She loves to eat biter biscuits and apple wheels. She pulls to a full stand and cruises the furniture. Sarah also started waving bye bye and drinking from a sippy cup. She also stands by herself, but no walking yet. Sarah also attempted to say backpack, and it came out “pack pack”. But she has not done it since. She has also stopped saying uh oh as well.

Rachel is still so much fun. She climbs on everything and loves to read herself books. She sings all the time and often forgets the second part to itsy bitsy spider. She forgets the rain comes down, so once the spider climbs the spout, the sun comes up. It is cute to watch her sing and to listen to her too. She also decorated her first Valentine cookie all by herself, so I had to include a picture. She loves to let Daisy out and then call for her at the door. She is also our little helper, she feeds Daisy her dogfood as well when she comes back inside.

The girls have found they love to climb inside the entertainment center, so I took some pictures of them. I also included some with Mary Margaret, Rachel’s little friend. They are sitting at the bar in our basement with their sippy cups.

A New Year… 2007

The girls are growing up so fast. Sarah has started crawling on her hands and knees. She has also started to pull up on things. She loves to stand and play. She is starting to talk more, but is still not as good as Rachel was at this age. Sarah says “uh oh” and then her basic “mama, dada, baba”. Sarah is eating solids and feeding herself more too. Here are some cute pictures.
